At the end of February, partners from Zealand University Hospital, Region Skåne, and Lund University (COSHE) met at IQVIA in Copenhagen for the project’s first workshop.
The topics covered during our first Danish-Swedish workshop in the Interreg Öresund-Kattegat-Skagerrak project Bridging Safe Elderly Care were many:
Focus on elderly patients with multiple conditions, communication, cooperation, and documentation during patient transitions within the hospital and after discharge, prevention of readmissions, cross-border collaboration, insights into comprehensive data sources…
The workshop aimed to discuss the clinical questions that the project’s add-on solution should address.
The day was filled with productive dialogue and exchange on comparable challenges and innovative solutions using AI. It became clear that working across borders and disciplines brings added value to the project.
By the end of the day, we had made great progress and were well-prepared for the next steps in the project.
